The World's Largest Motorcycle
Standing in at eleven feet and three inches (11', 3'') Gregory Dunham's motorcycle is the world's biggest motorcycle as recognized by the Guinness book of World Records as of 2005.
This magnificent motorcycle has a length of twenty feet and is powered by an 8.2 liter V8 engine. The engine has 500 horse power, and tops out at 65 miles per hour. The handle bars measure out to be twenty feet and four inches wide and the tires even stand at a height of six feet two inches. Steering the motorcycle takes place in a cage beneath the handlebars for the driver. This mastodon of motorcycles weighs in at 6,500 pounds, cost roughly $300,000 in supplies, and took three years to build. This motorcycle is completely operational and can be driven, as well as comfortable seat six passengers.
Gregory Dunham and his motorcycle currently reside in Stockton, California and he does not mind showing off his motorcycle every chance he gets. One cannot grasp the idea of the magnitude of this motorcycle unless seeing it up close in comparison with average motorcycles. Gregory Dunham really defied the odds when creating this bike and when asked why he replies simply ''¹..."'because they said it could not be done." Many of his friends said that it would never happen but he proved them wrong. Creating a bike this size has always been a dream of Gregory Dunham's and the challenge was eventful as well. Catching a glimpse of this behemoth is a must if you happen to ever be in the Stockton area of California. Shortly after making this and showing it off to the world, orders came in for people to have one of their very own.
