World of Warcraft Burning Crusade: Quest Walkthrough Guide - an Apexis Relic

This article will cover the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Quest "An Apexis Relic" serving as a walkthrough, giving the details about associated rewards, along with how to pick up and complete this quest.

World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Quests - An Apexis Relic
Quest Giver: Chu'a'lor located within the settlement of Ogri'la in the eastern area of Blade's Edge Mountain in Outland. The coordinates to find this character are 29, 57. (Requires a coordinate granting plugin, such as TomTom)
Quest Chain: Second in a quest chain of three. 1: The Crystals, 2: An Apexis Relic and 3: The Relic's Emanation.

Requirements to Receive Quest: Level 70 to start (yellow). Goes green at 73 and gray at 83. Can be accessed by both the Horde and Alliance members. Burning Crusade expansion
Rewards: 12,650 XP, 250 Ogri'la reputation. 250 Sha'tari Skyguard reputation. 4 Gold and 40 Silver.

The Requirements to fulfill this quest are to attain Appexis Vibrations from one of the Apexis Relics located around Ogri'la (31, 63 is a location of some relics nearby). To do this you must first attain an Apexis Shard. This item has a relatively high drop rate (50% and above) from the beats that roam the land nearby. Kill a few of them until you have at least one of these Apexis Shards.

Once you have an Apexis Shard, you may approach an Apexis Relic to start what is essentially a game of Simon Says after inserting the shard. The relic will hit one of four colored runes on the small platform it hovers above with a sort of electrical beam. You will start with just a sequence of one rune to hit, with each successful sequence you repeat, adding one additional rune to hit to the next sequence.

Once you make it to the sequence of 6 runes, then successfully repeat it, the quest will be marked completed, allowing you to turn An Apexis Relic in to Chu'a'lor. In addition, doing this sequence game is possible whether or not you are on the quest, and doing so grants you with movement speed buffs that get more powerful with more sequences completed. If you hit a wrong rune you will be shocked for magic damage, however you still have time to get it right. Waiting too long will reset the game, and require you to start over with a new shard.

Those having trouble with this quest may want to check out this handy curse add-on Ogri'Lazy that helps with remembering the sequences you have to repeat.
