Kids exercise is becoming an important thing for kids. However, here are three simple kids exercises to try out.
The first kid's exercise that I have started teaching my kids is that dancing is good cardiovascular exercise. Now I have not seen any kid yet that doesn't like dancing. I know that my kids love to dance so I just put on some upbeat music for them and let them dance to that. Little do they know that while they are dancing they are also having a little form of kid's exercise that will help them out in the long run!
The second kid's exercise that I am teaching my kids is walking. I know that my kids exercise with walking is because we go to the local park and walk on the trails. While they are not knowing that they are exercising here either they are just enjoying the walk. However, they do try to take frequent breaks all the time until they realize that they are not going to be carried. The trails that I walk on with my kids exercise program are nature trails so they do not have a place to sit down unless they want to get into the mud.
The third kid's exercise that I am starting to teach my kids is using small amount of weights. I know that they like to play with my husband's weights that he uses for therapy, but I do not want my kids to get hurt so I purchased them some small weights that are made out of cloth and super lightweight. Then with my kids they take the weights and carry them in their arms so they are getting some extra weight to carry. The only downside is the weights that they like to carry are actually lighter than the box that my son carries his toys around in!
So teaching your kids exercise is a good thing. They get some great kids exercise while in school and taking gym class, but they do not have that benefit during the summertime. So you will be able to teach them some great exercise on your own.
