I recommend a 2-ply or sport weight yarn to create a lace wrap that is light and airy. The finished wrap is approximately 17-inches wide and 60-inches long allowing you to wrap it around both shoulders and secure it in place by draping one end over your shoulder to your back.

20 ounces of light-weight yarn
Size N/15/10mm crochet hook
Scissors
Instructions:
Row 1 - Chain 51 stitches. Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and in each stitch across.
Row 2 - Chain 6 stitches. Skip the first two single crochet stitches then single crochet in the following stitch. *Chain 3, skip the next three stitches then complete a double crochet, chain 1, and a double crochet in the next stitch to create a V shape. Skip the next two stitches then single crochet in the following.* Repeat the pattern between the *'s for the remainder of the row. Chain 3 then double crochet in the last stitch.
Row 3-91 - Chain 3. Double crochet, chain 1 then double crochet in the first single crochet stitch in the previous row. *Single crochet in the next chain 3 space. Chain 3 stitches then complete a double crochet, chain 1 and double crochet in the next single crochet stitch.* Repeat the pattern between the *'s for the remainder of the row. Chain 3 then double crochet in the last stitch.
Row 92 - Chain 1 stitch. Complete a single crochet in each single crochet, double crochet and chain 3 space across for a total of 46 single crochet stitches.
Scalloped Border:
Work across the ends of the row. Connect the yarn and chain 5 stitches. Single crochet in the fourth stitch from the end. *Chain 5 stitches. Skip the next three stitches then single crochet in the next.* Repeat the pattern between the *'s for the remainder of the row. Finish off. Repeat the process on the opposite end.
