Begin by placing the heavy cream into a bowl and beating it vigorously until the cream can just barely hold its shape. Next fold the sugar and sour cream into the heavy cream and refrigerate it for a half hour.

Once it has sat in the refrigerator for thirty minutes it is ready to be served. It pairs well with mince pies, fruit pies, fruit salads, and cooked fruit compote.
