Five Reasons Why Spider-man and Mary Jane's Divorce is a Good Thing
Spider-man fans are furious that Marvel Comics has decided to split up Spider-man and Mary Jane. However, I think there are plenty of positives from Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce.
Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce is a good thing because it's realistic
The reason that Spider-man became so popular is because he is a character that everybody can relate to. Peter Parker was the dweeb that got picked on at school. Peter Parker was the guy that was a nobody in his teens but became successful after that period of life called "high school." Now Peter Parker is an adult with a job. I hate to break it to you but divorce is a real thing, a real thing that is becoming more and more regular. If it's happening in ordinary people's life then it will probably happen to Peter Parker too, because that is what he has always been.
Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce is a good thing because there are plenty superfish in the sea
Every man could use a woman that can relate. What Spider-man needs is to shack up with some female superhero (Black Cat anybody?). Not only can his woman then relate to balancing a real life and superhero life but that woman can also protect herself seeing how she is a superhero. Then Peter Parker doesn't have to worry as much about his woman being harmed.
Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce is a good thing because Mary Jane doesn't have to worry
Is your husband or boyfriend a fire fighter or cop or have some other kind of dangerous job that makes you worry all the time? Well forget that. Mary Jane's husband fights a guy with giant metal octopus arms, another guy that's the size of a rhino, another guy that shoots lightning bolts out of his hands and another guy that has exploding pumpkins. Mary Jane has worried about her husband so much she has probably lost ten years off her life.
Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce is a good thing because at least they aren't dead
Clearly Marvel wanted to shake things up majorly with Spider-man. There are two options of shaking things up as much as possible. 1. Mary Jane and Spider-man divorce. 2. Mary Jane dies. Now wouldn't you rather let poor little Mary Jane get a divorce than the alternative?
Spider-man and Mary Jane's divorce is a good thing because Mary Jane isn't worth it
If there is one lesson we should all have learned in life by now it is this, celebrities are messed up. Mary Jane is an actress. Any day now she'll be shaving her head, going to rehab or starving herself. Spider-man doesn't need that to deal with.
