How to Create Borders and Frames for Blank Pages in Publisher
If you are new to using Microsoft Publisher, you probably aren’t familiar with the Borders tool. This tool allows you to add borders and frames to blank pages in Publisher.
If you are new to using Microsoft Publisher, you probably aren't familiar with the Borders tool. This tool allows you to add borders and frames to blank pages in Publisher. These borders and frames are good to use for pages such as stationary, invitations, and certificates. No matter what you need the borders for, adding them is quite easy. Open your Microsoft Publisher software and we will get started with this guide of adding borders and frames to pages in Publisher.
First, you will need to create yourself a new page to work on in Publisher. Then you will need to open the Insert panel. You can do this by clicking the Insert tab at the top of your software. Once you have the panel opened, you will need to look for the Borders and Accents button.
Once you locate the button, you will see an arrow beside it. Click this arrow and the menu for the borders will open. In this menu, you will see your options for creating borders. Browse through the borders and frames and find the one you want to use. Once you find one, simply click it and the box will close.
You will now see a small frame or border on your page. Next, you will need to resize the border or frame to make it fit your page. You can do this by dragging the border or frame to the top, left corner of your page. Fit it snuggly to the corner and then you can resize it from there.
To resize the border or frame, grab the bottom, right corner and drag it to the bottom, right corner of the page. Once you have it covering the page, you can let go of your mouse. There's your first page border. If you decide you don't like that one after all, you can click it to select it and then delete it. To delete it, simply press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Have fun creating frames and borders for your pages in Microsoft Publisher!
