Baby Shower Diaper Castle

You can give all sorts of gifts, plus set up an attractive display, when you build a diaper castle for a baby shower. Whether the shower is for a baby boy, or a girl, the castle will look magnificent. It's not too time-consuming to make the castle and you'll shower the new mom with gifts at the same time. Set the display on a table as the decorations for the party and she can disassemble it when the celebration is over. As she does, she'll discover diapers, burp cloths, wipes, and more.
You can choose the types of gifts that you incorporate into the diaper castle but you'll definitely need diapers. You'll be the designer of the castle so decide how you want it to look. You'll be making assorted towers, and gathering them together to make the castle, so start by rolling diapers.
For each tall tower, roll a diaper from the open end, to the fold. You can either use a tiny piece of tape to secure the roll, or you can wrap the diaper in construction or scrapbook paper. With scrapbook paper, you can actually choose types that feature bricks or blocks, furthering the look of the castle. Just wrap the rolled diaper in the chosen paper and tape to secure. To make smaller towers, use things like bibs or burp cloths. Fold and roll them as you did with the diapers; tape to secure or cover them with construction or scrapbook paper.
Other towers can be made from canister diaper wipes and even baby bottles. Stand the various towers up on the table. Put a tall one on each back corner, and a short one on each front corner, or create your own arrangement. To top each tower, fold paper cones, and tape one over the top of each tower. If you want, make tiny flags, and glue each one to a toothpick. Slide the toothpicks into the cones; top some or all of the towers with flags.
As you arrange the diaper castle, leave an open "court". That way, you'll have an area for depositing gifts. Choose gifts and place them in the court with the towers all around them. When the guests arrive they'll be stunned by the unusual and generous arrangement. But the new mom will be the most excited; she has just received a wealth of gifts for the new baby - and a photo of a crazy castle to show the baby when he or she grows up.
