  • WHAT IS A CENTER LINK? A center link (also known as a drag link) is part of your vehicle's steering system - it ties various steering components together to allow your wheels to turn. Center links are built with a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and need to be replaced as they wear out. A worn center link causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Replacing your worn center link gives a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling, and safety.

Hasselhoff Daughter's Intervention Videotape Backfires

During a scheduled visit with his 16-year-old daughter 3 months ago, Hasselhoff was drinking and lying on the floor of his Las Vegas home. His daughter videotaped him, which resulted in suspension of his visitation rights.

Hasselhoff and his former wife, Pamela Bach, have two teenage daughters with whom they share joint custody. Hasselhoff had visitation rights until Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas suspended them Monday, based solely on the videotaped evidence. At Monday's hearing, Judge Juhas made his ruling and stated, "This videotape changes the landscape, it just does." Judge Juhas then set a hearing for May 21 to determine the authenticity of the tape and who was responsible for its release.

According to Bach's attorney, Debra Opri, Bach was "devastated" by the release of the videotape, but also "stunned" by Hasselhoff's drinking in front of Taylor-Ann.

Hasselhoff, 54, has admitted he suffers from alcoholism. He released a statement Thursday in which he says, "I am a recovering alcoholic. Despite that I have been going through a painful divorce and I have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issue. Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse. Because of my honest and positive relationship with my daughters, who were concerned for my well-being, there was a tape made that night to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my daughters. The tape was never meant to become public, but got into the hands of individuals who are not worthy of mentioning, who maliciously released the tape for their own self purpose. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have."

USA Today reports "Extra" said the tape also includes the girl repeatedly asking her father why he continues to "do this" to himself. Hasselhoff is said to respond: "Cause I'm lonely. I have trouble in my life."

Hasselhoff is well-known for his starring role in "Baywatch." Recently he has been appearing in a stage version of "The Producers."
